As a Security Officer - Armed Aero Patrols in Palmdale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within an advanced aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout assigned areas, remaining a visible presence to help discourage unauthorized activity, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication and professionalism. This position requires both armed and driving capabilities, as you will be responsible for responding quickly to situations and navigating the premises as needed. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and check credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry at the location.
• Interact with employees, visitors, and contractors to provide assistance and guidance regarding security-related protocols.
• Document and report security-related incidents and observations following Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or alarms as they arise, following established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local laws and regulations.
• Must possess an active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance.
• Must hold a valid law enforcement officer license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
