As a Security Officer- Tech Site Screener in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a secure and welcoming environment within a dynamic technology-focused location. In this position, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities will also include performing access control duties, verifying credentials, and assisting with badge management as needed. Exceptional customer service and clear communication are essential as you interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, helping to address inquiries and support a positive experience. You will utilize computers or tablets to document activities and support incident reporting. Pay Rate: $21.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Screen individuals entering the location, verifying credentials and monitoring access points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential risks and observe any unusual activity.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, or irregularities according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with team members and site management to maintain a secure environment within the tech and media location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
