As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology-focused location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the premises. Your role will involve monitoring assigned areas, responding promptly to any security-related concerns, and delivering outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will serve as a point of contact for employees and visitors, providing guidance and support while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.
• Interact with employees, visitors, and contractors in a courteous manner, offering assistance and information as needed.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Support the implementation of security-related protocols specific to a technology and media environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
