As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol - Hotel Site in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent hotel and resort location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for guests, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter potential security-related incidents, and responding to events as needed. You will interact with a diverse range of people, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the professional standards of Allied Universal. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the hotel and resort environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and/or client leadership.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to those on the premises.
• Complete required documentation and reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
