Your daily responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. This position also requires driving as part of your duties, so you will be expected to navigate the assigned areas in accordance with our company's driver policy. Providing outstanding customer service and clear communication will be central to your role, as you interact with staff, visitors, and other personnel. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter and report suspicious activity.
• Communicate and collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as required.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in detailed written reports.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and adapt to changing environments and/or situations at the location.
• Follow all company protocols and client-specific requirements as outlined by Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
• Must have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
