As a Security Officer - Unarmed Government Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service. You will be expected to respond promptly to situations, communicate clearly with team members and the public, and uphold Allied Universal's core values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious, unusual, or prohibited activities in and around the location to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors to provide information and assistance related to security-related matters.
• Complete required documentation and reports regarding incidents, patrols, and observations in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
