Job Description:

As a Security Lobby Ambassador - Weekday Mornings in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will be the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and guests. Your primary responsibilities will include managing access control, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will utilize computer or tablet systems to monitor entry and exit activity, respond to inquiries, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $27.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or guests at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming presence.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and helping to deter unauthorized entry in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with site personnel, management, and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Support security-related procedures and protocols specific to a technology-focused environment, adapting to the unique needs of the location.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions or information requests at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
