Position Overview

The Sr. Dental Network Recruiter is an experienced initiative-taker who is motivated by this results driven performance role, responsible for obtaining signed contracts from dental providers that are part of the company's recruitment list. You would implement recruitment strategies to obtain individual goals and the dental division's goals with bonus potential. The ideal candidate will have experience and proven industry results working within Dental PPO Networks and/or Dental third-party networks. The position offers a unique opportunity to develop a best-in-class recruitment strategies to align with our newly expanded Medicare Advantage Network.

Summary of responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying, recruiting, negotiating, and contracting a dental provider network in a geographic area within established targets to meet network needs.
  • Results-driven individual contributing to the growth and value of the Zelis Dental Networks.
  • An experienced dental industry professional that can effectively negotiate when applicable.
  • Proven negotiation and relationship building skills - continuing positive relationships with dental providers, large dental groups, DSO's, and Dental Consultants.
  • Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills including listening and persuasive speaking, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to support key professional relationships are essential.
  • Platform Skills to effectively and independently present.
  • Ability to understand and prioritize provider challenges and office dynamics, finding best approaches to communicating and educating providers and staff, making sound decisions, problem solving and proactively building strong network relations.
  • Manage PPO and Medicare Advantage recruitment efforts and network retention within assigned territories.
  • Serves as a resource to support network initiatives and help ensure regulatory requirements and strategic goals are realized
  • Proficient in handling multiple tasks and responding to shifting priorities to maximize client satisfaction and opportunities.
  • Possesses abilities to prioritize and organize tasks and responsibilities with persistent and complete follow through that gains results.
  • Working knowledge of provider contracts and support providers on contracting protocol.
  • Able to work effectively in both a team environment and independently to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Track and log daily performance through recruitment interactions and goal metric information using various tracking mechanisms
  • Will represent Zelis at industry shows.
  • Performs other related responsibilities as assigned

Education / experience

  • 5+ years' experience in dental recruitment with network recruitment results
  • Industry knowledge of dental claims, provider relations, Medicare Advantage and other dental industry experience.
  • Substantive knowledge of insurance and dental terminology
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) preferred
  • Advanced level knowledge and proficiency of MS Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, CRM etc. and related applications

work environment

  • Travel requirements to (primarily) domestic destinations should not exceed 30%.
  • A standard work week exists but with the understanding that more time/effort outside of the usual parameters can/will occur based upon the overall needs and where deadlines exist and when necessary due to the needs of the team.
  • A standard business environment exists with moderate noise levels.
  • Core Business hours apply

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time

Location and Workplace Flexibility

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. We foster a hybrid and remote friendly culture, and all our employee's work locations are based on the needs of the position and determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities, if applicable, vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.

Base Salary Range

$59,000.00 - $79,000.00

At Zelis we are committed to providing fair and equitable compensation packages. The base salary range allows us to make an offer that considers multiple individualized factors, including experience, education, qualifications, as well as job-related and industry-related knowledge and skills, etc. Base pay is just one part of our Total Rewards package, which may also include discretionary bonus plans, commissions, or other incentives depending on the role.
