The Unisys Brand Strategist role blends the insights of research and data analysis with the emotion of design and human stories to create and reinforce a compelling, holistic and cohesive brand experience. As the Brand Strategist, you are part of Marketing and Communications -- a highly collaborative team of US-based and international professionals who work closely with the Business Units, Chief Commercial Office, Human Resources and other organizations to grow the reputation and awareness of Unisys and to execute strategies that address business priorities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage the brand's architecture, strategy, naming and guidelines
- Lead the expansion and stewardship of the brand's visual identity system, ensuring consistency and impact across all touchpoints, from digital platforms to physical environments
- Refine and evolve the verbal brand, including tone of voice and brand-level storytelling that reflects the company's priorities and strategic positioning
- Own and manage the brand naming architecture, including product and solution naming, nomenclature strategy, and alignment with trademark and legal standards
- Partner with Legal and other stakeholders to ensure intellectual property protection of brand assets, including trademarks and logos
- Collaborate with design, content, and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of visual and verbal brand elements across campaigns, experiences, and communications
- Reinforce governance processes for brand usage, including guidelines, training, and audits to maintain brand integrity globally
- Analyze research findings, competitive reviews, market trends, consumption data and client feedback for insights to develop brand-strengthening recommendations and strategies
- Work with marketing teams and deep research to assess and codify the buyer journey in support of awareness and engagement campaigns
- Own the Employer Brand strategy in collaboration with Human Resources across all candidate touchpoints
- Collaborate with HR and other teams to nurture the Unisys Winning Culture through various programs and initiatives
- Progress Environmental strategy stewardship in partnership with Corporate Real Estate to bring the brand to life across the global office footprint
- Create compelling brand stories and presentations, including the corporate pitch deck
- Communicate complex ideas effectively
- Assess key performance indicators and implement measurement, analytics and reporting methods to measure brand health
- Provide key data and analysis of brand activities to all relevant teams and leadership
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, Communications or relevant field
- Proven strategic thinker with extensive knowledge of compelling brand marketing strategies
- Experience aligning business goals and challenges with brand experiences and campaigns
- Ability to effectively handle multiple projects and timelines
- Self-starter who can lead strategic and practical conversations with internal clients and leaders
- Ability to analyze research and make data-driven recommendations
- Knowledge of research methodologies, including heuristics, user journeys, and persona development
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated analytical, innovative and growth-oriented mindset
- Compelling storyteller who loves to connect the dots
