Job Summary: Oversee the company's facility operations, manage staff, manage office moves, and manage janitorial duties. Responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operating results, all while remaining in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plans and schedules for facility maintenance and modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs.
- Assist with the coordination of building space allocation, layout, and facilities resources.
- Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of the situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.
- Develops and implements procedures and policies related to facilities and building management.
- Acts as advisor to unit or sub-unit and becomes actively involved as required to meet schedules or resolve problems.
- Frequently interacts with subordinates, outside customers, and functional peer groups at various management levels. Interaction typically requires the ability to gain the cooperation of others, work in partnership with them, and present technical information concerning specific projects/schedules.
- Responsible for mechanical service calls and in-house repairs throughout the facility and grounds.
- Performs work in multiple maintenance trades, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Performs routine equipment repair and installation of office fixtures.
- Make periodic or special inspections of premises to determine repair work necessary.
- May work from rough sketches and drawings per building plans.
- Responsible for overseeing and hands-on interaction with all other facilities-related duties.
- Responsible for overseeing shipping and receiving.
- Responsible for managing the facilities work order system.
- Maintains GMP Areas as per current federal regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership and management in an effective manner consistent with Company Values towards defined Corporate Objectives.
- Understands Company Policy and procedure to be able to follow and guide direct reports appropriately.
Knowledge & Other Qualifications:
- HS Diploma and extensive proven experience in building/facility management.
- Six+ years of industry experience working with HVAC systems.
- 3+ years of managing/supervising employees preferred.
- Knowledge of building codes.
- Some weekend work required.
- Working knowledge of building security systems
- Ability to use simple workshop equipment such as a saw and a drill.
- Strong familiarity with all areas of business and laboratory building maintenance and facilities management.
- Requires a working knowledge of shop math.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language is required.
- Ability to use simple gauges.
- Attention to detail.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment/Travel Requirements:
- Position may require prolonged sitting, prolonged standing, and climbing; the ability to push, pull, drag, and/or lift up to 10 pounds of force constantly, with exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently.
- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned, or to make general observations of facilities or structures. Worker is also required to have the visual acuity to perform activities such as operating machines such as drill presses, power saws, where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach.
- The worker will be required to work outside in all conditions, including, but not limited to heat, cold, rain and snow.
Compensation: At Supernus, we offer a competitive compensation package that reflects your experiences and contributions. The expected salary range for fully qualified candidates applying for this role is $138,000 to $166,000. This range is what the Company reasonably expects to offer for the position and is not reflective of the full compensation scale of the role. This range may be modified in the future. An individual's salary within the range is based on multiple factors, which may include and are not limited to education, relevant experience, knowledge, length of industry experience and organizational needs. Base salary is one part of the overall compensation package, which includes the opportunity to participate in employee stock purchase programs and performance-based bonus programs.
