Job Description We are seeking an Indian specialty cook with experience at our EWR Unit. Essential Functions Expertly prepare and cook a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes, including curries, biryanis, tandoori items, and appetizers, following traditional recipes. Utilize classic Indian cooking methods-roasting, braising, simmering-to maximize flavor and authenticity. Maintain precise recipe adherence and portion control to ensure consistent quality Monitor ingredients levels, minimize waste, and uphold high culinary standards Work efficiently across multiple kitchen stations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization in compliance with hygiene and sanitation regulations Follow all food safety protocols under the Food Safety Management System Identify and report any food safety or operational concerns to management Support daily operations through inventory management, food preparation, and other assigned kitchen tasks. Must train your team in all aspects from prepping to cooking. Skills and Qualifications 2 years Cook experience in specified type of Cuisine with a minimum of 1 years as a Lead Cook in a high volume cooking institution/airline catering Experience with multi-airlines (international customers preferred) Ability to read, speak and write English Good organization and communication skills Bilingual necessary-Specialty language and English Supervisory Responsibility This position has supervisory responsibility.
