Are you a seasoned oncology professional with a passion for driving clinical excellence? We are seeking a Nurse Supervisor to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring our oncology practices operate at the highest level. You will work closely with practice management to support key operational projects, implement best practices, and maintain exceptional standards of care across multiple sites. This is a dynamic role where you will be instrumental in shaping our clinical operations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Operations & Quality: Ensure all clinical operations and practices align with organizational objectives and community standards of care. . Staff Development: Assess staffing levels and workflows to optimize patient flow and efficiency. You will assist in developing company-wide clinical competency programs and skills validation. Your leadership will be key in coordinating employee schedules, including vacation, sick leave, and overtime, while demonstrating a strong knowledge of labor laws. Best Practices: Facilitate the implementation of standardized best practices and incorporate clinical evidence into existing and new standards of care. Project Management: Support a variety of operational projects as assigned, from site Quality Committees to other special initiatives.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or other clinical field is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with an advanced degree (MSN, MBA, MHA) highly desirable. Experience: A minimum of five years of clinical experience in an oncology practice or clinic setting is required, along with at least one year of leadership experience. Certifications: You must hold a current state license for your clinical background and be CPR certified. Oncology certification is preferred. Skills: Strong knowledge of applicable labor laws, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate employee staffing are essential.
Working Conditions
This is a traditional office environment with frequent travel by car between our multi-site service areas. The role requires extensive computer-based work, but may also involve a full range of body motion, including standing, walking, and occasionally lifting items up to 40 lbs.
