OVERVIEW:

The Social Services Assistant will help with the operations of the social services department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Assist in the operation of the Social Services department
  • Assist the lunch program and input client data
  • Maintain statistics of all Corps social services programs
  • Assist in holiday programs
  • Pick up donations
  • Other related duties as required


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • CA Driver's License (required)
  • ServSafe Food handling certificate (within first fourteen days of employment- company provided)
  • Experience in Microsoft programs


SKILLS AND ABILITIES:



  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)


EQUIPMENT USED:



  • Modern Office Equipment and Relevant Software


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (usually file boxes)
