GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Enthusiastically improve the lives of teammates: The Finance Innovation Team exists to improve the lives of teammates through better process, better tools, and better data.

Leadership of enterprise planning and reporting data and technologies: This position is to be a leader of the enterprise field reporting across DaVita Kidney Care. The position requires substantial work across both home office and field functions to define, create, and deploy new tools and processes to the Village that result in getting the right data, to the right place at the right time.

Change agent and process improvement: This leadership position serves as a change agent that leads the initiatives to build and to sustain technologies and processes resulting in streamlined workflow, elimination of redundancy, and most importantly a better user experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.

Reporting and Business Process Management Leadership

  • Work with teams to identify areas where technology and processes can be deployed to further the core value of Continuous Improvement.

  • Provide business problem-solving expertise to ensure successful outcomes of information technology initiatives

  • Maintain current knowledge and understanding of information technology to ensure competitive analysis

  • Define and prioritize user stories in the development and implementation of new tools and processes

  • Analyze ambiguous and complex business problems; create project feasibility studies and business process models

  • Define scope, research business assessment capabilities, define potential problems, propose innovative ideas, and recommend actionable next steps

  • Gather business future state requirements and identify organizational changes required to realize technology benefits

  • Evaluate solution options; perform detailed cost/benefit analysis and impact of creating, implementing and adjusting IT business plans

  • Assist in development and presentation of long-term technology solutions and plans

Solution Project Planning

  • Direct solution planning

  • Oversight and leadership of the Agile development process

  • Identify business analytics and incentive metrics to measure results, outcomes and improvements

  • Facilitate project communication between all relevant stakeholders in the Village

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:

  • Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed

  • Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures

  • Travel required: up to 10%

Project and Team Leadership

  • Manage direct reports

  • Assume full responsibility for cross-functional team formation, management, and execution towards large, critical Village-wide projects and rollouts that impact thousands of teammates

  • Must have in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives and balance them with the timelines and resources available to make decisions on setting project scope and deliverables

  • Regularly interact with Senior Management to get project guidance and buy-in when necessary

  • Responsible for setting project scope and adapting scope throughout the project as necessary

  • Responsible for managing budget and staffing of projects

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required.

  • Bachelor's degree in required; MBA preferred

  • Experience in enterprise planning and reporting systems and/or data management strongly preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing multiple, medium-to-large, cross-functional teams or projects required

  • Demonstrated experience in Agile development and project planning and execution strongly preferred

  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required

The Salary Range for the role is $133,000.00-$195,000.00 per year.
