AWS Cloud Developer, Senior

The Opportunity:

Doing DevSecOps well means development and automation. Making tasks repeatable and efficient across multiple environments requires Infrastructure as Code (IAC), scripting, and sometimes writing applications. Our cloud service broker team is looking for a developer with a good understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure, containerization, and networking to make new cloud capabilities available insecureenvironments.

You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining systems in an enterprise-scale secure environment using Linux and Microsoft platforms

  • 3+ years of experience with DevOps and cloud engineering using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in AWS and Azure using Terraform or CloudFormation

  • 2+ years of experience using Golang, Python, SQL, Scala, or Java

  • 2+ years of experience with system hardening or STIGs, Configuration-as-Code using Ansible, and with Risk Management Framework (RMF)

  • 2+ years of experience developing CI/CD pipelines to build, test, and deploy applications and infrastructure

  • 2+ years of experience with networking, DNS, routing and switching, and troubleshooting

  • 2+ years of experience with containerization or orchestration using Kubernetes or Docker and Helm charts

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology

  • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of start date

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with disaster recovery services and concepts

  • Experience with Gitlab, including automating DevSecOps pipeline processes in Gitlab

  • Experience with migration of applications to the cloud

  • Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and deliver to project deadlines

  • Master's degree

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
