Location:Lee Health -2776 Cleveland AveFort Myers FL 33901 Department: Work Type: Full Time Shift: 0/8:00:00 AM to 2:30:00 PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$20.00 - $20.00 / hour SummaryThe CNA Trainee is responsible for completing a time-defined, paid training program designed to prepare for a Certified Nursing Assistant Advanced (CNAA) role within Lee Health. Trainees will complete the education through an organization-approved training program and are expected to meet all program requirements prior to unit placement as a Certified Nursing Assistant Advanced (CNAA). Trainees must complete all required clock hours, actively participate in classroom and clinical instruction, and successfully pass the Florida CNA certification exam to be eligible to transfer into a Certified Nursing Assistant Advanced (CNAA) role. Upcoming Cohort dates : January 8, 2026 RequirementsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience: None required. Certification:None required. American Heart Association healthcare provider basic life support (BLS) required prior to transfer into a Certified Nursing Assistant Advanced position. License: None required. CNA license required upon program completion; an extension may be granted, at the discretion of the department director and system director.
