Tenure faculty (regardless of rank) - persons with the titles of professor, associate professor, assistant professor and instructor who serve on appointments totaling 50% or more service to the university and who are eligible for tenure or who have obtained tenure. Duties and responsibilities are assigned in accordance with the workload guidelines laid out in the pattern of administration of each faculty members tenure initiation unit (TIU) and, as appropriate, regional campus; obligations will include research, service and/or teaching or clinical practice. These faculty will have earned doctorate or other terminal degree in the relevant field of study or possession of equivalent experience. The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek a research faculty to join the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience. Position Overview The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism in the Department of Internal Medicine is actively recruiting a research faculty with interest and/or expertise in endocrinology related research to join our esteemed faculty. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research aimed at understanding and treating endocrinology disorders, leveraging our state-of-the-art facilities and collaborative environment. In addition to research responsibilities, the role involves active engagement in teaching and mentoring. The candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of endocrinology specialists through lectures, seminars, and hands-on training. This position also includes opportunities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, engineers, and basic scientists, fostering a synergistic approach to endocrinology research.
