General Summary: The Customer Relations Coordinator is the primary source for customer contact and order coordination for their assigned customers in our Automotive, Fluids and Industrial Divisions. Primary responsibilities include order entry, contract review, order management, pricing administration, investigating and responding to customer inquiries and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. While collaborating with internal departments, this position will provide proactive communication with the customer, production and sales. Essential Duties: * Enter and/or review all new spot buys, blanket purchase orders and EDI transmissions. Perform the Contract Review process per the established procedure. * Perform all necessary steps for revisions and changes to all orders. * Monitor open orders and delivery dates to ensure commitments to the customer are met on a timely basis. Communicate confirmations and changes as needed to the customer and production teams. * Monitor emails on a frequent basis to respond within four hours to a customer and 24 hours to internal personnel. * Perform all ERP system related duties per established Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures. * Support the timely resolution of customer discrepancies related to pricing, scheduling, shipping and invoicing. * Perform scorecard management of assigned customers and communication of concerns to the appropriate heads of departments for review and resolution. * Support Sales Account Managers as needed related to customer issues. #FLAMBEAUHIGH Education/Certification Requirements: * College degree in Business or related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience. Experience Requirements: * Minimum two years of customer service experience within a custom manufacturing setting. Skill Requirements: * Proficient in using Order Entry and related modules in an ERP system (Delmia Works/IQMs preferred). * Microsoft Office (basic to intermediate Excel skill level is required). * Excellent customer relations skills. * Clear and concise communicator. * Intuitive thinker (see ahead and understand the impact of actions and decisions). Physical Requirements: This is largely a sedentary role, requiring use of typical office equipment such as a computer, copy machine, laptop and cell phone. May be required to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally. Most work is completed in a corporate office environment. Supervision Over the Following Roles: Work Schedule/Attendance /Overtime/Travel Requirements: * Monday - Friday / 40 hours per week * Overtime as needed |
