Description
The goal is to establish a systemic program for outcomes research and in the Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. The Research Associate (RA) position within the will work under supervision and is expected to carry out complex research assignments focused on vascular surgical outcomes in both prospective and retrospective fashion using both institutional and administrative database. The RA will contribute to the experimental design and executing designed experiments for the project. The RA will participate in the development and implementation of new and/or revised research methodologies and techniques. In addition, the RA will also participate in basic science research project while performing advanced molecular, biomedical, and cellular techniques. The RA will collect, analyze, interpret, and evaluate research data. Other responsibilities include preparing scientific manuscripts, articles, abstracts, and research reports for publication in peer-reviewed journals. The RA is expected to attend and present at local and national scientific conferences, workshops, and seminars as well as conducting critical analysis of research literature related to research being investigated.
