Electronic Technician

An Electronic Technician lay's out, builds, tests, installs, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies electrical and electronic components, parts, equipment and systems.

The requirements for the position are as follows:

• Possess in-depth knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and components, to include associated command and surveillance systems.
• 5 years of experience as an Electronic Technician.
• Able to read and interpret drawing, schematics and other electrical/electronic technical documentation.
• Familiar with applicable commercial and Government specifications and codes.
• Have comprehensive knowledge at component/system start up, testing, troubleshooting and repair.
• Able to check functioning of newly installed equipment in vessels and structures to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions.
