Applications received after January 17, 2026 may be reviewed depending on search progress and needs but are not guaranteed full consideration. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ The College of Business at the University of Rhode Island (URI) invites applications for a tenured or tenure-track position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor in Strategic Management, with an anticipated start date of Fall 2026 (negotiable). Job Summary: We seek an accomplished scholar with a strong record of impactful, high-quality research, demonstrated teaching excellence and evidence of academic leadership, who will contribute to the College's continued growth and reputation. The successful candidate will join a collegial and research-active faculty and play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the Management area and the College of Business. Key Responsibilities: Qualifications Required: 1. A Ph.D. in Strategic Management, Organizational Theory, or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited (or equivalent) institution. 2. A sustained record of research excellence, demonstrated by publications in top-tier, peer-reviewed academic journals, a strong scholarly reputation, and evidence of an active and productive research program. 3. Evidence of excellence in teaching and mentoring at both undergraduate and graduate levels. 4. Demonstrated professional leadership and service to the academic community. 5. Strong written communication skills. 6. Strong oral communication skills. 7. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
