The New York office of ArentFox Schiff LLP is seeking a Senior Corporate/PE/M&A Associate for the 7th year associate class or above or a Junior Corporate/PE/M&A Partner to join our sports, media and entertainment industry group. This role provides the opportunity to work on some of the highest profile deals for the biggest names in the industry. Candidates must have substantial experience leading leanly staffed PE/M&A deal teams and supervising junior and midlevel associates. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex transactions for private equity firms or high net worth individuals. Experience with clients in the sports, media and entertainment industries is a plus. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Additional requirements include: strong organizational, communication and writing skills, as well as excellent academic credentials. The good faith base salary range for this position is a minimum of $320,000 to a maximum of $400,000 per year. The actual salary rate offered to candidates within that range will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, years of relevant experience, education, applicable bar admissions, and the candidate's overall qualifications for the position as assessed by the Firm. In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer a comprehensive bonus system with opportunities for associates to receive: hours-based productivity bonuses, cash bonuses for business generation and expansion, and merit-based bonuses to recognize and reward outstanding performance and contributions ranging from $10,000-$200,000+.
