The Engine Build Mechanic is responsible for performing engine builds, updates, and inspections on prototype and production engines. The Mechanic will follow directions to achieve expected torques, clearances, and assembly requested by engineering. Please note: This is a temporary UAW salaried represented position that may last for up to 12 months. As a UAW salaried represented employee, the individual is subject to any dues required by Local/National agreements. Qualified candidates for this position will be expected to perform the following duties: Perform mechanical support associated with engine and transmission testing:
