As a Security Officer - Mall Bike Patrol Specialist in Birmingham, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a bustling retail and mall location. Your responsibilities include conducting regular patrols, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents, and engaging with visitors and staff to provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behaviors or activities within the premises to Allied Universal management and/or client contacts as required.
• Assist visitors, employees, and tenants with directions or general inquiries, offering a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances.
• Support emergency response activities, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Able to ride a bike for long periods of time is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
