What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the retail location and its perimeter, adjusting to varying working environments and conditions as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disruptive behavior by maintaining a visible presence and observing the premises.
• Communicate and collaborate with retail staff and management regarding security-related matters and site-specific concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or issues according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Remain prepared to respond appropriately to emergencies and/or incidents involving customers, staff, or property.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Hold a Level III Armed Certification for roles in Texas.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• A current CPR certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
