As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment for a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to promote a secure atmosphere. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points at the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit.
• Perform routine identification and verification checks for individuals entering or leaving the premises.
• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, addressing inquiries and/or concerns in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or security-related breaches.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, in accordance with site-specific guidelines and Allied Universal procedures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities and/or incidents as required by site policy.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
