What to Expect

TheAssociateManager, Collision Validationis responsible for leading the teams that validate and create flat rate times for the collision repair manual for Tesla vehicles. This leader is responsible for leading the collision validation team to support vehicle market entry through ensuring 100% vehicle replaceability and repairability is achieved and all collision damage can be repaired on day zero of customer deliveries.


What You'll Do
  • Direct, lead, mentor, and train Collision Validation teammates
  • Manage repair workshop and ongoing operations
  • Partnership with engineeringteams to lead innovation of the collision repair manual, validate the repairs, identify process optimizations, and simplification or repairs
  • Optimize systems and/or processes used for creating replacement procedures, technical documentation and recording validation times
  • Partner with Tools & Equipment for new vehicle readiness, building specifications, reviewing third party test data, validating tooling onsite
  • Interact with international teams to coordinate repair validation initiatives
  • Anyadditional needs deemed necessary by the business

What You'll Bring
  • 10+ years of collision industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalentin experience in Automotive, business administration, management, or engineering
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Professional experience: Prior leadership experience in collision repair or reconditioning focused industry
  • Strong proven experience leading field, technical repair, or manufacturing teams in a fast -paced, technology-driven environment with strong customer facing responsibilities
  • Experience developing and operatingcomplex processes using lean or other techniques
  • Technical acumen is required - you must develop a knowledge of all Tesla products, as well as collision repair systems, process, and procedures
  • Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legislative guideline
