Job Title: DI and Telemedicine Inside Sales Consultant
Duration: 1 month with possibility of extension
Location: Westbrook Maine 04092 (Remote)
Pay Rate: $26.0 - $27.28 hourly



JOB SUMMARY

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm EST (Some flexibility on time depending on time zone)



Summary:

As an Associate Veterinary Imaging Consultant (AVIC) for the Diagnostic Imaging and Telemedicine Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for lead generation for company's Web PACS, Telemedicine, CardioPet and Diagnostic Imaging within an assigned geographic territory, handling opportunity identification and prequalification of Sales Qualified Leads (SQL's) and Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL's) for the Veterinary Imaging Consultant (VIC) and preparing diagnostic imaging customers with end of life systems for their system upgrades by collaborating with the Diagnostic Imaging Specialist. The primary success metric for this position is based on number demonstrations booked and converted for the Veterinary Imaging Consultant and Diagnostic Imaging Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Conduct approximately 40 outbound calls per day to identify and qualify 5-10 potential sales leads.
  • Engage veterinary and healthcare professionals through professional, trust-based conversations.
  • Book and coordinate product demonstrations for imaging and telemedicine systems.
  • Collaborate with regional consultants and diagnostic specialists to prepare customers for system upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate lead data, call notes, and follow-ups within CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and quarterly performance goals related to lead generation and conversion.
  • Work independently to manage call lists, pipeline progress, and time effectively.
  • Manage a high-volume pipeline through outbound calls and emails to identify and nurture sales opportunities.
  • Generate and qualify leads for diagnostic imaging, telemedicine, and cardiology products.
  • Schedule product demonstrations in partnership with field consultants and imaging specialists.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional commercial teams to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth sales transitions.
  • Gather customer feedback to support product improvements and marketing strategies.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Represent the brand professionally, promoting products and services within the veterinary market.


Skills:



  • Excellent verbal communication and objection-handling skills with strong customer focus.
  • Proven ability to manage high call volumes and achieve measurable lead generation targets.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
  • Prior experience in healthcare, medical technology, or business development preferred.


Qualifications:



  • 3+ years of experience in sales or lead generation, preferably in animal health, veterinary, or healthcare industries.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of diagnostic imaging and telemedicine technologies.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Works independently on routine opportunities and collaborates on complex deals.
