Job Description




As a Security Professional - Government Patrol Driver in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to foster a secure environment, and engage with individuals on-site to support a positive experience. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for driving while on duty. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and report any irregularities or suspicious activity according to established protocols.
  • Support a secure environment for personnel and visitors by observing and reporting security-related matters.
  • Communicate clearly with team members, clients, and law enforcement as needed, using provided communication devices.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
