We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Digital Marketing to join our Marketing & Corporate Affairs team. This role is located in New York, NY In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping BNY's future marketing analytics capabilities and global measurement strategy. You'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Support defining and implementing the marketing data strategy and governance framework-working with engineering partners to automate data ingestion from first- and third-party marketing technologies (Adobe Analytics, Marketo, Dynamics), validating quality, and rationalizing into trusted worldclass datasets.
- Architect and build scalable reporting pipelines, self-service dashboards and interactive visualizations (Power BI, ThoughtSpot, etc.) to surface KPIs and trends for global Marketing and Communications.
- Lead development of advanced analytics workflows-segmentation, attribution modeling, personalization, campaign testing and ROI analysis-leveraging AI/ML where appropriate.
- Collaborate with Business Platform, Marketing, Digital, Event and Content teams to translate business questions into data requirements, deliver timely insights, and coach stakeholders on data literacy and dashboard adoption.
- Own the Analytics Roadmap-prioritizing cross-functional initiatives, defining project scope, and ensuring on-time delivery of high-impact solutions.
- Establish data governance best practices, maintain documentation and self-help guides, and evangelize a data-driven culture across global teams.
- Present analysis and recommendations to senior leadership, advising on marketing investments, campaign effectiveness and the evolving client journey
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Analytics, Economics or related fields.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing analytics, data engineering or BI leadership-ideally within a B2B environment with complex buying cycles.
- Proven success designing and implementing attribution models, segmentation frameworks and performance dashboards.
- Hands-on expertise with SQL and/or Python; experience with Snowflake (or similar cloud data warehouse) strongly preferred.
- Experience partnering with engineering teams to prioritize marketing data integrations, overseeing ETL testing for accuracy, and transforming raw platform data into structured, analytics-ready datasets for reporting and AI/ML use.
- Advanced proficiency in BI visualization tools (Power BI, ThoughtSpot, Tableau, etc.) and data ingestion/integration technologies.
- Deep understanding of digital channels (SEO, paid/social, email, website analytics) across earned, owned and paid media.
- Proven ability to design and operationalize end-to-end tracking processes for multi-channel (including offline) client engagements-establishing standardized capture protocols, ensuring data integrity across touchpoints, and integrating disparate interactions into a unified analytics framework for comprehensive performance measurement.
- Exceptional communicator and influencer-able to distill complex data into concise, actionable insights and build credibility with senior stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with high intellectual curiosity, a bias for action and a track record of driving process improvements at scale.

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $81,000 and $150,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
