As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming environment for employees and guests. You will play an important role in responding to security-related situations, assisting with access control, and maintaining open communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail location in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail space and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities.
• Communicate professionally with the public, employees, and management while performing patrol duties.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or observations according to company and site-specific protocols.
• Assist in managing access control and monitoring premises to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
• Support emergency response activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
