As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol - Overnight Shift in Carthage, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, adhering to security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the well-being of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Document and report incidents, hazards, or maintenance needs according to established procedures.
• Support food and beverage industry operations by maintaining awareness of site-specific protocols and maintaining a visible presence.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site staff to address any security-related concerns as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
