Job Description




As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in HUNTINGTON , WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. Your presence and proactive communication will help create a welcoming atmosphere while addressing any concerns that arise. This position involves driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies for the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the chemical and/or petrochemical facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Monitor property and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with emergency response activities according to established protocols for the location.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of patrols and any incidents observed during the shift.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives as needed regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
