What to Expect
The High Voltage Systems Validation team is tackling tough, meaningful technical challenges on Cybercab & Semi while improving engineering workflows across all Tesla vehicle platforms. In this role, you'll create data pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and automation tools that speed up vehicle development and deliver real customer benefits like faster charging and better PowerShare performance. You'll play a key role in bringing new features to life, collaborating closely with firmware & integration engineers during bring-up and validation. Through this work, you'll help ensure we ship high-quality, reliable products that our global customers can count on.

What You'll Do
  • Design & implement data pipelines and analysis tools for test results from CI/CD pipelines
  • Bring up AI agentic workflows and MCP servers to support test-writing and coverage analysis
  • Participate in spec reviews to help shape new products and features
  • Work with integration, system validation and firmware engineers to create technical safety test plans
  • Use critical reasoning to write Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) tests

What You'll Bring
  • Degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical or Systems Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Strong Python and scripting skills
  • Experience with high voltage electrical systems
  • Experience creating validation plans for technical safety
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with data pipelines and data analysis
  • Experience with Pytest or an equivalent testing framework

    Expected Compensation
    $113,424 - $248,880/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
