Lincoln Hospital (LH) is a full-service healthcare system that includes a hospital with two campuses: Lincoln Hospital - Miles Campus inDamariscottaand Lincoln Hospital - St. Andrews Campus inBoothbay Harbor, as well as two long-term care facilities, retirement communities in both Boothbay Harbor and Damariscotta, a 40-member multi-specialty physician practice. The Miles campus includes a 25-bed community hospital.

Security is presently seeking a manager to join their team! The position will have involvement in workplace violence and working closely with Behavioral Threat Analysis & Management (BTAM's).

Summary This position consists of 40 hours per week, day shifts.

The Lincoln Hospital Security Manager oversees security operations for Lincoln Hospital. Ensures the protection of hospital premises, property, employees, patients and visitors. The Security Manager also assists the Senior Operations Leader with the development, implementation, and monitoring of security policies, procedures and programs for Lincoln Hospsital and associated off site locations.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: IAHSS Basic certification within six months of hire. IAHSS Supervisory and Safety certificates within one year of hire. Valid Driver's License. BLS Required. MOAB Instructor recommended.
  3. Experience: Minimum of five years of experience and working knowledge of the healthcare security industry and management practices.
  4. Demonstrates analytical skills necessary to be forward thinking, problem solving and ability to communicate professional reports using established metrics with hospital software systems.
  5. Knowledge of governing codes, regulations, best practices, standards and guidelines governing the healthcare security industry.
  6. Able to maintain a calming demeanor and make good judgements in a high pressure situations. De-escalation skills to minimize or eliminate escalating violence.
