Patient Service Specialist (PSS) - Primary Care Family and Internal Medicine, Kennebunk

Location: 2 Livewell Drive, Kennebunk, ME
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (consistent schedule, no weekends or holidays)
Remote Flexibility: This is an on-site position.

Position Summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Patient Service Specialist (PSS) to join our dedicated Primary Care Family and Internal Medicine team in Kennebunk. The PSS serves as the first point of contact for our patients and plays an essential role in ensuring a positive, efficient, and welcoming experience.

As part of our professional and supportive team, you will be responsible for front desk and clerical duties, including scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, and assisting with general office tasks to support the daily operations of the practice.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Six months of medical office experience required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills.
