This position is funded for 1 year(s); continuation past 1 year(s) will be based on university need, performance, and/or availability of funding.POSITION SPECIFICS Penn State Extension is seeking a Master Gardener Coordinator to oversee the general function and activities of the Penn State Extension Master Gardener (MG) volunteer program in Cumberland County. The coordinator works under the supervision of the Area Coordinator and State Master Gardener Coordinator. For the Cumberland County program, the coordinator will work closely with MG volunteers to provide education on sustainable horticulture practices to county residents. Specific duties include:

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
