- Perform network data capture and analysis using tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, and Ekahau.
- Implement QoS policies and ensure optimal traffic prioritization across enterprise networks.
- Support data center architectures (VxLAN, OTV, VDC) and campus LAN/MAN designs for scalability and resilience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate networking solutions with security, cloud, and application environments.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and network diagrams.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in a senior network engineering role within a large, complex enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies, including Nexus, Catalyst, and ASR/ISR platforms.
- Advanced expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and internetworking best practices.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Splunk, Cisco ISE) and out-of-band management solutions.
- Familiarity with wireless networking technologies and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Proficiency with network analysis tools (Wireshark, tcpdump, Ekahau).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions in business terms.
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNP or CCIE certification strongly preferred.
- Experience with Arista hardware, Palo Alto security appliances, and/or Zscaler.
- Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Oracle).
- Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Python) for network configuration and orchestration.
- Experience with F5 Networks or similar load balancing solutions.
