Starting salary up to $93.93/hour ($196,043/year) and a competitive total compensation package!*

The Deputy Director of Regional Parks provides leadership and operational oversight responsibilities across major functional areas within the Department, to include park operations and maintenance, natural resource management, community engagement, administration, and marina operations. In addition, this position serves as a department-wide resource, assists in aligning departmental mandates, goals, and abilities, and acts on behalf of the Director during their absence. 

The ideal candidate will be collaborative leader who thrives when working with other County departments, agencies, the public, and County officials. The position requires superb communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to effectively build relationships and work alongside diverse communities. Excellent strategic planning, and public speaking skills are essential to succeeding in this role.
