ChristianaCare Medical Advantage Program at Milford is looking for a Medical Assistant I. The Medical Advantage Program at Milford is located at 701 N. DuPont Blvd in Milford, Delaware. Medical Advantage Program at Milford is a comprehensive initiative that focuses on preventive care and chronic disease management for patients aged 65 and above. The Medical Advantage Program at Milford providers will play a crucial role in addressing the growing healthcare needs of Sussex County, especially among older adults. Sussex County, a "Medically Underserved Area," is expected to experience a significant population increase from 237,000 in 2022 to over 361,000 by 2050, thereby increasing the demand for primary care services. ChristianaCare provides personalized, patient-centered care to meet the growing demand for primary and specialty care in Sussex County, particularly among older adults. The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting our physicians in the examination and treatment of patients with virtual and on-site appointments, will deliver quality patient care and perform other clinical and clerical duties within the practice. The Medical Assistant will join a fantastic interdisciplinary team consisting of our physicians, APCs, registered nurses, and other frontline support staff. Work Schedule:
