River Park provides acute inpatient services to children, adolescents, adults and seniors and features a 22-bed residential treatment program for children and adolescents and a 25-bed adult forensic unit. Qualifications

We are seeking a compassionate Assessment and Referral Nurse to join our team at River Park Hospital in the US. This contract role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients by providing expert assessment and referral services within our behavioral health setting.
Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate patient referrals to appropriate services and resources.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
  • Educate patients and families about treatment options and procedures.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust referrals as needed.
  • Contribute to a supportive environment that respects individual needs and promotes recovery.
  • Qualifications
  • Valid nursing license in the US.
  • Proven experience in patient care within behavioral health or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and compassionate approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Prior experience with medical records management is preferred.
