Position Title: Blender/Cook
Wage: $20/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7am-3pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Blender/Cook for a company in Ixonia, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Blender/Cook Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Use RF guns to scan materials being used - Follow recipes, portion and quality control standards, add ingredients to cooking pots - Climb up stationary ladder to dump ingredients into large cooking pots - Ensure machinery is running at accurate temperature, making adjustments as necessary and stirring batches as required - Ensure kitchen appliances and equipment have been cleaned before each work day by following sanitation checklist - Maintain food product inventory and notify of any shortages Blender/Cook Requirements: - Prior cooking experience necessary, industrial cooking preferred - Ability to do basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division - Ability to follow recipes - Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds throughout shift (8- 10 hours) - Ability to stand for long periods of time throughout shift (8- 10 hours) - Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and walk up stationary ladders throughout shift (8- 10 hours) QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
