Job Description

As an Audit Lead Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of internal control reviews and assurance at Allstate. This position combines traditional auditing with a focus on innovation, technology, and strategic insights that drive business success. You will lead complex audits, collaborate across the organization, and champion a culture of excellence while ensuring compliance with professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage data analytics, AI, and automation to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness

  • Foster collaboration and open communication to build strong relationships that enable proactive risk assessments within each audit/project

  • Drive innovation and adapt to changing business priorities and risks

  • Lead complex audits with independence/minimal oversight and objectivity

  • Perform more complex audit testing in support of audit objectives with minimal oversight, ensuring accuracy and completeness of work

  • Engage audit clients and clearly communicate the need for a strong, cost-effective internal control environment and risk management practices

  • Coordinate and direct team members on audit assignments and projects

  • Ensure audits are performed with proficiency, due professional care, and in compliance with IIA standards

  • Support timely and effective remediation of control issues

  • Minimal travel required (20%)

Certification/licensing:

  • Core certifications required: CPA/CA, CISA, CIA, or CFE. Must obtain one within 18 months if not already held.

Experience:

  • 5 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This job does not have supervisory duties

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 80,000.00 - 136,625.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
