As a Security Officer - Financial Reception Desk in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at a financial institution location, providing a welcoming presence while assisting visitors and staff. You will monitor entry points, handle inquiries, and help to deter security-related incidents through attentive observation and outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all individuals entering or exiting the location by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access control at the front desk, verifying identification and/or credentials for employees, visitors, and contractors as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activity, or policy violations to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Assist with emergency response activities from the front desk, including communication with emergency personnel and coordination of building procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior within the location.
• Provide information and assistance to visitors, clients, and staff while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
