Under supervision, assist with the recruit of patients for the study, coordinate blood sample collection, collection of patient data, perform basic laboratory duties including answering telephones, inventory of lab supplies, receiving lab specimens, and instructing collaborators in lab submissions. Incumbent will assist and support the PI, trainees and technicians in carrying out experiments, making routine analysis and preparing solutions, managing laboratory records. Technical functions include assisting with the preparation of solutions, buffers, and complex reagents, performing immunocytochemistry, cell culture, blood sample analysis, database maintenance, and operating lab equipment. Assist and support supervisor and laboratory personnel in lab organization of specimens and lab procedures/protocols, ordering supplies. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $43,639 - $50,571 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $20.90 - $24.22 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). | |
