Summary A Design Drafter - Programmer will work with Design, Sales, and CNC Router and Sheet Laser Operators during the development and maintenance of routed and laser cut parts manufactured at the Southern Fulfillment Center. This position is responsible for designing and drafting 2D and 3D part drawings for custom routed and/or laser cut signs and panels. Process product change requests, maintain installation sheet revisions and shop drawing revisions. They will assist in all other design-drafting functions when deemed necessary. Education and/or Experience
Travel Travel may be required up to 10%. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence as well as be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Reasoning Ability Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCad for design work, concept and production modeling. Must be knowledgeable in CNC programs such as PartWorx and Amada Dr. ABE Blank. Other Skills Must be eager and willing to quickly learn, operate and apply new software to improve quality and production efficiency. Physical Demands
