Quality Inspector I
Job Description: The Role: Entegris is currently seeking a Quality Inspector I to join our Advanced Purity Solutions Division. This position will be at our San Luis Obispo, CA facility. The Quality Inspector I performsroutine inspections and measurements to ensure manufactured products meet documented quality specifications. This roleidentifiesand documents nonconformances, uses basic inspection and measurement tools, follows calibration and quality procedures, and supports safe, efficient production operations.This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor. What You'll Do:
- Performs routine inspection on manufactured or other process outputs against documented Entegris specificationse.g.Product Control Plan, inspectionproceduresand other site quality control documentation.
- Maintains awareness of customer complaints and internal rejections of the product being inspected.
- Followsall discrepant material control procedures.
- Notifiesinspectionsupervisors and process owners of any detected discrepancies.
- Additionally,mayperformbasic First Article Inspection Reports.
- Maintains proper use and care of measurement equipment; ensures equipment calibration is current per the Calibration Schedule before use.
- Utilizes a variety of measurement tools to accurately perform measurements.
- Measures product with required equipment as definedondocumentation.
- Maintains current andappropriate inspectiondocumentation in product files.
- Documents all discrepancies between the product and the written specifications perproceduresusing SAP Quality Notifications (QNs).
- Follows site control ofnon-conformingprocedures.
- Verifies current revision history of documentation prior to use.
- Create a healthy and safe work environment for all employees.
- Any other duties as assigned.
What We Seek:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0-1 years' experience as an inspector in a manufacturing environment or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Demonstrates the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Able to work and contribute independently in afast-paced, dynamic production environment.
- Skilled ordemonstratesthe ability to use a variety of measurement equipment including calipers, pin gage set, height gage, test indicator, micrometer, dial indicator, surface plate, optical comparator, smart scope, and coordinate measuring machine (CMM).
- Possess computer skills and knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Excel (SAP desired but notrequired).
- Demonstrates knowledge of basic math and geometry.

- Compensation: $24-27 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
