Salary: The budgeted salary range for this position is $40/hour to $45/hour. Final salary offered will be determined by a thorough assessment of available market data, internal salary equity, candidate experience and qualifications, and budget constraints.

Position Summary

This position contributes to the design and delivery of research projects and collaborates with Cancer Center stakeholders to
design, develop, execute and implement integrative data analyses and data dissemination for various research studies. This
position is responsible for developing and applying innovative analytical approaches in the area of cancer data management.
Performs complex data collection and study methods.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee data from various sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, or external systems, and ensuring its accuracy and completeness. This involves cleaning, organizing, and transforming the data into a suitable format for analysis.
  • Employ statistical techniques, data mining, and data visualization tools to analyze large datasets. Identifying patterns, trends, and correlations within the data to extract actionable insights and make recommendations.
  • Create and generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present the analyzed data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Communicate findings to stakeholders, including management, departments, or clients, to support decision-making processes.
  • Develop and implement data models, structures, and architectures to facilitate efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
  • Ensure data quality by implementing data validation processes, resolving data inconsistencies, and maintaining data integrity throughout the organization.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social science or related field required. Master's degree in social science preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years related research experience.
  • Possesses and applies advanced knowledge of research principles, concepts, practices and methods
