The Engineer will Manage CQI and GIMS cross functional task force teams, create priorities, action plans and track progress, align and update initiatives list, be the first responder to Component Quality Analysis Team New Emerging Issue alerts, will interact with DSE, MFG and DRE to develop the next steps plan, document the plan to the team, coordinate any next steps and track progress working side by side with DSE/DRE setting up plans or tests needed and will update status and results into GIMS, our Quality Initiatives documents and QEC teardown results database. The Engineer also manages the development of the Applications Matrix including all interface requirements for given programs including all variants and various vehicle platforms, coordinates packaging studies with each vehicle application to ensure all clearance requirements are met, Leads advanced vehicle adaptation designs studies and freezes, updates and coordinates approvals of International Product Spec releases, updates and coordinates approvals of owners manuals, updates and coordinates approvals of CP, Compliance Report Standards and negotiates requirements with vehicle platforms based on product limitations and capabilities.
