About this opportunity: Ericsson is seeking a highly motivated, solutions-focused Senior Customer Project Manager to lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects for Cloud Radio Access Network (Cloud RAN) initiatives within the Customer Unit AT&T. This role blends technical expertise in Cloud RAN and Radio Network solutions with strategic leadership, governance, and a passion for delivering business value through innovative and efficient project execution. The position is based in Plano, TX, and requires occasional travel to customer sites.
What you will do:
- Lead end-to-end NPI projects for Cloud RAN (planning, execution, delivery) for AT&T as the customer.
- Act as primary AT&T point of contact, ensuring clear communication, alignment of objectives, and superior customer experience.
- Collaborate with the Product Development Unit to align NPI goals with product innovation and technical roadmaps.
- Coordinate and empower cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, product management, external vendors) to deliver on time, on budget, and with continuous improvement.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed project plans, governance structures, controls, and schedules.
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, lead change management, and drive process improvements and best-practice sharing.
- Lead and coordinate remote/offshore teams across time zones, ensuring effective communication, performance management, and delivery.
- Manage project financials and resources to ensure profitability and cost-effective delivery.
- Facilitate customer onboarding, training, support for new Cloud RAN products, ensure compliance with Ericsson standards, AT&T requirements, and industry regulations, and prepare executive-ready status reports.
- Foster innovation by identifying AI/automation opportunities, promote a "one team" culture, and coach project team members for professional growth.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's in Engineering/Telecom/IT/Business (Master's preferred) with 8+ years' telecom project management experience, including NPI and end-to-end network deployment for Tier1 customers.
- Proven track record managing distributed, remote/offshore teams and multipriority programs in fastpaced, dynamic environments.
- Deep knowledge of Cloud RAN architectures, virtualization, 5G technologies, and Ericsson network rollout processes/tools.
- Handson experience with site swap, site modernization, and network automation/orchestration platforms.
- Familiarity with cloudnative technologies and regulatory compliance for telecom infrastructure.
- Experience working with large operators (e.g., AT&T) and collaborating with Product Development Units/R&D on AIdriven telecom solutions.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts, frameworks, and data analytics platforms and their integration into telecom products and crossfunctional development teams.
- Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, and Ericsson deployment methodologies; PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership demonstrating goal clarity, team development, change driving, innovation fostering, and coaching for professional growth.
- Excellent customerfacing and executive communication, plus strong analytical, reporting, and problemsolving skills.

Your Pay The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience. Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
